The client is a cooperative organization owned by 24 community colleges which supplies library services. The college provides a remote access service that allows community college students both on and off campus to connect to on-line databases and article repositories.
Prodigy redeveloped the existing application to be more flexible and maintainable. Additional facilities for testing the application and for logging and tracing any errors were introduced. At the same time, facilities were introduced to allow each community college to have its own sign-in page that could fully reflect the look & feel of the community college other sites. Support for mobile access was also provided via responsive design.
Custom sign-in pages were implemented for each of the community colleges and improved mechanisms to support on-campus and off-campus use were implemented. Improvements in the code structure have greatly facilitated troubleshooting and problem resolution.
This major wealth management firm requested Prodigy to develop a web site that would allow advisors to prepare and display investment proposals to clients for their financial assets. The application needed to support the allocation of assets to different standard funds and provide summary information in the proposal on the funds chosen.
Prodigy provided a team lead and developers to develop an Angular and .Net based web application including security, standard text, incorporation of select external pdfs, digital display of the proposal and creation of a single pdf for the final proposal. Information needed to be stored and available for revision.
Development of the web site was carried out during a 8 week period from ideation to implementation. Users have been very pleased with the resulting web application.
The client was working to update and extend their television and media offering on mobile platforms. As part of this initiative they were migrating all of their existing special channel content for delivery on mobile platforms. They required assistance in conducting quality assurance of the replatformed content.
Prodigy provided an experienced quality assurance analyst with mobile media experience to develop and conduct the quality assurance plan. This senior resource was supplemented by additional junior QA resources as required in conducting the plan.
Each of the intermediate milestones (project was organized by channel) for quality assurance was met on time and budget.
